Glanbrook - Royal LePage State Realty Brokerage

Glanbrook is made up of the towns of Binbrook and Mount Hope, two booming residential neighbourhoods within Hamilton. Amalgamated into the new City of Hamilton in 2001, Glanbrook itself was brought into existence through a 1974 merger of the townships of Binbrook and Glanford.

Binbrook has been the sought-after community for young families for well over a decade. Safe, secluded, and with a hint of rural life, it is now one of the premiere locations in Hamilton for those with young children. Binbrook is becoming increasingly self-contained, as it has many amenities such as a grocery store and other essential shops. Despite its growth, the small town character remains in gracious old homes and acres of farmland, as well as nearby conservation areas and nature parks.

Mount Hope is south of Rymal Road along Upper James and is home to the John C. Munro International Airport. It has long been a relatively quiet hamlet with a more rural feel than Binbrook, however the area is starting to gain traction as new subdivisions continue to crop up. There is a larger mix of commercial and residential here, and its proximity to Upper James makes it incredibly convenient for families.

The Binbrook Conservation Area is also located in Glanbrook and is a 978-acre tract of protected land. Owned by the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, it includes the large Lake Niapenco, which is surrounded by open meadows and hardwood forests with many walking trails.

Glanbrook has the perfect combination of country appeal and urban amenities.  Within mere minutes, residents can find major shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, schools, the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway, the Red Hill Expressway, Hamilton International Airport and so much more. With its small town setting, Glanbrook is the ideal community to raise a family.  Having the comfort and security of knowing your neighbours and the close-knit community around you makes rural living more inviting than ever before.
