Stoney Creek - Royal LePage State Realty Brokerage

Historic Stoney Creek has a long and honourable provenance and is one of the oldest communities in the City of Hamilton. Known for its central location on Lake Ontario and within the Golden Horseshoe, Stoney Creek is a geographically diverse community.  There are many urban, suburban and rural residential areas to choose from and outdoor areas including waterfront parks and conservation lands, as well as recreational facilities, shopping and dining options just minutes away.

Stoney Creek is divided into upper and lower sections, based on their location above or below the escarpment. The lower portion of the area includes Eastgate Mall, Battlefield Park, and the Stoney Creek Village Historic District. The majority of shopping in the area can be found along Highway 8, and Centennial Parkway, which are also major arteries within the community.

Above the escarpment, Upper Stoney Creek includes Famous Players Silvercity Hamilton Mountain movie theatre, the Starlite Drive-in on Green Mountain Road, and an abundance of shopping amenities located just South of Mud Street where the Lincoln Alexander and Red Hill Valley Parkway’s connect.

There are also many outdoor amenities in Stoney Creek, including 50 Point Conservation Area, The Devils Punchbowl, and Eramosa Karst Environmental Conservation.  These spots are perfect for hiking, nature appreciation, and education.
